University of Minnesota Physicians Dental Clinic provides comprehensive dental care for both children and adults in a relaxed, comfortable environment. The Dental Clinic provides care for people who have an underlying medical condition that may add complexity to the management of their oral health. For patients who need a little extra care due to physical or developmental disabilities, or are afraid of the dental experience, this is the clinic that you can call home. Whether you need your teeth cleaned, a dental exam, full mouth restoration or anything in between — we are here for you.

Our dentists provide care for many dental conditions including (but not limited to) the following:

  • Cleanings and prevention (including dental exams, X-rays and oral hygiene instruction)
  • Cosmetic and restorative services (including fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, veneers, and root canals)
  • Oral surgical services (including extraction of wisdom teeth and placement of dental  implants)

  • Urgent and Emergency Services (including pain and broken teeth, mouth infections and head and neck trauma)

Who Will Provide My Care?
The dentists are faculty of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry as well as graduate dental residents in the School of Dentistry’s General Practice Residency Program at University of Minnesota Medical Center. In addition, you may also receive your care from a multidisciplinary team which  includes dental hygienists and dental specialists.
