Treatments and Procedures Our physicians offer a comprehensive array of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and consultation including:
- Birth control counseling
- Gynecologic surgery, including laparoscopy (surgery using small incisions, leading to a shorter recovery time), hysterectomy and sterilization
- Obstetric and gynecologic ultrasounds, including early testing for birth defects and 3D/4D imaging when indicated
- Chorionic Villi Sampling - Early testing for birth defects
- Amniocentesis - Testing for birth defects; testing to see if fetal lungs are ready for delivery
- Sono-hysterograms - Specialized ultrasound for diagnosing problems inside the uterus
- Office hysteroscopy - Fiber-optics used to see inside the uterus
- LEEP procedures - Treatment for cervical dysplasia (‘pre-cancer' of the cervix)
- Essure tubal sterilization - ‘Tying the tubes' without surgical incisions
- Colposcopy - Evaluation of abnormal Pap smears
- DEXA Scans - Assessment for osteoporosis
